Vivo has officially unveiled its flagship X200 series in China, consisting of the vanilla X200, X200 Pro, and X200 Pro Mini models. While the Pro variants receive most of the attention, the standard X200 model shares many top-tier features from its premium siblings.
Design and Display: Sleek, Powerful, and Durable
The X200 boasts a 6.67-inch quad-curved AMOLED display, the same as the Pro versions, offering Zeiss Natural Color technology for superior color accuracy. This 10-bit LTPS panel supports HDR10+ and features high-frequency PWM dimming to reduce flicker, with a peak brightness of 4,500 nits. Unlike traditional OLED panels, the X200’s display is designed to last three years longer while using less power. Additionally, the device is rated with an IP69 waterproof and dustproof certification, an upgrade from the X100’s IP68 rating. The optical fingerprint reader also enhances security.
Flagship Internals and Software: Power-Packed Performance
The Vivo X200 is powered by the recently launched MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset, built on a 3nm architecture. This octa-core processor includes a blazing-fast Cortex-X925 core clocked at 3.626 GHz, providing impressive performance. The device is equipped with up to 16 GB of RAM, which can be virtually expanded, and offers storage options ranging from 256 GB to a massive 1TB, expandable with Vivo’s proprietary compression technology.
The X200 runs on Android 14 with Vivo’s Funtouch OS 5. For Chinese models, additional features such as Circle to Search and Origin Island (a version of Apple’s Dynamic Island) are included. International models may differ in features, with some possibly missing the advanced AI-powered note-taking and copywriting tools.

Camera System: Impressive Versatility and Detail
The X200 features a triple-camera setup that includes a 50MP Sony IMX921 main sensor with a Zeiss lens, offering a wide f/1.57 aperture and T* coating. While this sensor is smaller than the ones used in the Pro models, it still delivers impressive photo quality. A 70mm telephoto lens with a 50MP IMX882 sensor, and a 50MP ultra-wide lens with a 15mm focal length, round out the rear setup.
For selfies, the X200 comes with a 32MP ultrawide front camera, capable of 4K 60 FPS video recording, making it a great choice for high-quality self-portraits and video content.
Battery and Charging: Long-lasting Power
The X200 is equipped with a 5,800 mAh BlueVolt battery, which is 800 mAh larger than its predecessor, the X100. Although charging speed is slightly slower, with a 90W wired charging capability (down from 120W in the previous model), it still offers rapid recharge times.
Color Options and Pricing
The X200 comes in four elegant color variants: Sapphire Blue, Titanium Grey, Moonlight White, and Carbon Black. In China, the base model is priced at ¥4,299 (~$605).
